What to Expect

When you come to Victory Springs Independent Baptist Church, there are some things that you can expect:

  1. Expect a warm friendly greeting by real people! Yes, you will get a handshake, warm smile and you will make friends!

 

  1. Expect to find ministries for each member of your family. There is a nursery, Sunday school classes, junior church, teen ministry, and activities for adults.  For the ladies, we have ladies’ meetings, activities, Bible studies and overnight getaways.  For the men, we enjoy prayer breakfasts, annual skeet shoots, Bible studies and did we mention lots of eating!

 

  1. Expect to find a safe environment for your family. All of our youth volunteers have background checks and our nursery workers also have a first-aid course certificate.  No child is left alone with any one adult at any time for the safety of the child as well as the worker.

 

  1. Expect to find that Jesus Christ and the Bible have preeminence in everything we do. You will not find rock bands or flashy entertainment, the world supplies that kind of stuff.  However, you will find a joyful service filled with God-honoring singing, music, and real preaching from God’s Word that truly makes a difference.

 

  1. Expect to find that we use a time-tested King James Bible and hymnals. No, we don’t have that off-the-wall singing!  Where so many churches are throwing their hymnals and Bibles aside, we understand the importance of both of these in the worship of God!

 

  1. Expect to be challenged by God’s Word. At the end of every service, we simply invite you to respond to God as He has spoken to your heart.  Yes, expect God to touch something in your life in every service!

 

  1. Expect to hear, “God is good…all the time!” That is our motto here at VSIBC and it is proven every single week!
